OCA instruments
	Contact angle measuring and contour analysis systems for every budget. State-of-the-art optics, high-precision mechanical systems, intelligent electronic controllers and high-resolution video cameras guarantee a precise, accurate and highly reproducible image of a liquid drop dispensed within the DataPhysics instrument selected. Our development engineers bring with them more than two decades of practical experience in these measurement techniques. You are invited to draw on this knowledge, carefully and cleverly incorporated into our measurement systems.

Analysing the wetting behaviour of a single droplet sitting on a human hair (diameter about 80 µm)	We will provide a credible solution to the most complex of interfacial challenges. In many diverse engineering applications the ability of liquids to wet solids affects the quality of the finished products and the integrity/reproducibility of the manufacturing processes. Some important examples of this are the production and application of paints and varnishes, the development and the optimisation of composite materials, the use of adhesives and selection of solvents for engineering materials, and the biocompatibility of medical implants. Reliable analytical data is provided via the precise evaluation of static and dynamic contact angles, the surface free energy of solids and the surface and interfacial tension of liquids. Last but not least, the recent, rapid, advancements in nanotechnology and biotechnology have been possible, only, through an exact knowledge of wetting processes in the sub-microscopic level.
