OCA 15Plus
Whether your application demands the evaluation of contact angle or drop shape, the video-based optical contact angle measuring system, OCA 15Plus, may be the instrument of choice where initial budgets are limited. It is designed for applications that can be comfortably addressed with a single electronic syringe unit, ES, and do not demand automated measurement or temperature and atmosphere control for their samples. The OCA 15Plus is available in the variants: OCA 15LPlus, OCA 15XL, OCA 15LHT, and OCA 15LHT-SV. Furthermore the OCA 15Plus can be easily upgraded to include all the capability of an OCA 20 (also OCA 15L to an OCA 20L and OCA 15LHT to an OCA 20LHT) or to an OCA 30 (also OCA 15L to an OCA 30L).

Features of the basic configuration:
* Sample table with manual adjustment in three axes via high-precision mechanics for precise and accurate sample positioning. * High performance 6x parfocal zoom lens, with integrated continuous fine focus, and adjustable observation and camera tilt angle. * Video measuring system with USB camera (max. 52 images/s sample rate). * Lighting of the optical path with continuously adjustable intensity without hysteresis. * Max. sample dimensions (L x W x H): OCA 15Plus: 220 x ∞ x 70 mm. OCA 15L: 330 x ∞ x 70 mm OCA 15XL: 410 x ∞ x 70 mm OCA 15LHT: 330 x ∞ x 70 mm, HTFQ 1200 or HTFC 1800. OCA 15LHT-SV:1400 x ∞ x 210 mm.

Some of the most important components and accessories are listed below: * High-speed option for USB camera (max. 146 or 311 images/s sample rate) and high-speed video system UpOCAH (max. 1000 images/s sample rate). * Single direct dosing system, SD-DM, for use with standard and disposable syringes and needles. * One electronic dosing unit, ES, enabling, software controlled, adjustable dosing volume (min. 50 nl) and dosing rate (0.06 µl/s … 26.4 µl/s). * Up to four manual syringe units, MS, with a manual multiple dosing system MD/4. * Manual tilting base attachment, TBA 60M, for a maximum tilt angle of 60°. * Manual turn table, MTT, with top plates up to 200 mm diameter. * Temperature and environmental control systems (-30…1800 °C und 1 mPa… 5·106 Pa). * Wide range of sample holding and positioning units.
