OCA 15 Pro
Whether your application demands the evaluation of the surface free energy or of contact angle or drop shape, the video-based optical contact angle measuring system, OCA 15Pro, may be the instrument of choice. It is designed for applications that can be comfortably addressed with the innovative double direct dosing system DD-DM and two electronic syringe units ES. The expandability with an additional software controllable unit of the OCA accesory range broadens the number of possible aplications. The OCA 15Pro is available in the variants: OCA 15LPro, OCA 15XLPro, and OCA 15LHTPro, and also easily upgradable to an OCA 20 or OCA 30.

Features of the basic configuration:
* Sample table with manual adjustment in three axes via high-precision mechanics for precise and accurate sample positioning. * High performance 6x parfocal zoom lens, with integrated continuous fine focus, and adjustable observation and camera tilt angle. * Video measuring system with USB camera (max. 52 images/s sample rate). * Lighting of the optical path with software controlled intensity adjustment, without hysteresis. * Max. sample dimensions (L x W x H): OCA 15Pro: 220 x ∞ x 70 mm. OCA 15LPro: 330 x ∞ x 70 mm OCA 15XLPro: 410 x ∞ x 70 mm OCA 15LHTPro: 330 x ∞ x 70 mm, HTFQ 1200 or HTFC 1800.

Optional OCA accessories:
Some of the most important components and accessories are listed below: * High-speed option for USB camera (max. 146 or 311 images/s sample rate) and high-speed video system UpOCAH (max. 1000 images/s sample rate). * Single and double direct dosing system, SD-DM / DD-DM, for use with standard and disposable syringes and needles. * Up to two electronic dosing units, ES, enabling, software controlled, adjustable dosing volume (min. 50 nl) and dosing rate (0.06 µl/s … 26.4 µl/s). * Electronic 2-fold dosing system E?MD/2 for the precise automatic positioning of two dosing needles or an other software controlled component out of the OCA accessories range (like TBU 90E or ETT/VAC). * Manual tilting base attachment, TBA 60M, for a maximum tilt angle of 70°. * Manual turn table, MTT, with top plates up to 200 mm diameter. * Temperature and environmental control systems (-30…1800 °C und 1 mPa… 5·106 Pa). * Wide range of sample holding and positioning units. Inc. holders for foils or papers, FSH 30 and FSC 80/150, for single fibres, FHO 40plus, or the suction plate, SP 100, for holding thin flexible samples flat on the stage, with an adjustable suction area. * Electro-wetting platform, EWP 100, for the analysis of sessile and pendant drops in an electrical field. * The available software modules for the OCA 15Pro are: SCA 20 — contact angle.
