HI-83214 (C214) Multiparameter Photometer with COD

HI-83214 is specially designed for WWTP (Wastewater Treatment Plants) applications. It determines Chlorine (Free and Total), Nitrates, Ammonium, Total Nitrogen, COD, and Phosphorus (reactive, hydrolyzable, and Total) in various ranges.

All analyses are performed in 16 mm diameter vials distinguishable by a printed letter on the vial (next to the Hanna logo) and the cap color.

The letter indicates:
A: Ammonia
N: Nitrate, Total Nitrogen
P: Phosphorus

The cap color allows distinguishing between the different vials used for measuring in the same analysis (indicated by the letter code), but for a different range or between different vials used in the same measurement procedure.

The C 9800 Thermoreactor with temperature selector allows performing COD digestions at 150°C and also Total Nitrogen and Total Phosphorus at 105°C. It has the capacity to perform up to 25 simultaneous digestions. It features a timer so the reaction can be carried out without supervision; once the timer is set to the desired digestion time, the unit will complete the digestion and automatically disconnect.
