What is the CC2400 Multifunction Plate and what is it used for?

The CC2400 is a 5-in-1 tool that allows different coating tests to be carried out in situ, in compliance with the main international standards.

With this single plate you can:

• Measure the thickness of fresh coatings (from 50 to 500 µm) according to ISO 2808.
• Apply progressive coatings as a stepped applicator up to 2000 µm.
• Perform cross-cut adhesion tests (1, 1.5, 2 and 3 mm) according to ISO 2409.
• Check the levelling of the coating to evaluate the viscosity of paints or varnishes.
• Carry out a cross-scratch Saint Andrew’s Cross type for corrosion tests (ASTM D3359).
