A wheel-shaped thickness gauge made of stainless steel to check thickness of fresh and wet film
The NEURTEK roller is a wet film thickness gauge designed for fast and accurate results. It features a double ground wheel and an inner eccentric disc that rolls over the wet paint. When the outer wheel contacts the film, it indicates the applied coating thickness.
How does the roller work?
- Disc diameter: 50 mm; width: 10 mm, made of stainless steel.
- The disc is subdivided into two lateral concentric wheels and a central eccentric disc.
- As it rolls over the wet layer, the eccentric disc touches the surface at the point of measured thickness.
- Knowing the solids percentage of the coating allows prediction of the dry film thickness.
